I have a one player in my group who cannot access any of the three games he has joined in Forge. he gets a loading bar freeze until he is forced out. He has gigabit internet so it shouldn’t be a bandwidth problem. Any ideas?
Hey there, this sounds like classic gray screen issue, can you please forward them these 3 guides to follow through, they address the most often cause of this issue.
We tried all of that. And determined in this particular player’s case that his system was able to load no more than 2 small maps and around 15 characters before being unable to access.
Before your 6/25 patch he was able to load a pretty large game by waiting for around 5 minutes to process the data on his end. Since that update his connection times out after 90 seconds and he is kicked from your server que.
We recognize that his hardware may be less than optimal, but i suspect that you have implemented a ping or packet limiter on your “back end” that is forcing him out before he system has an opportunity to fully process.
Since you have failed to respond after your last cookie cutter answer I will assume that I was right on your updated “back end” processes and are becoming quickly unworthy of my subscription.
I am having the exact same issue with an additional detail.
I can log into my own server and several other servers perfectly fine.
However on one server I am the only one who gets the “Grey Screen of Death” every time, and this only started happening after last session on July 5th, when I last logged into the particular server properly.
All other players and GM load perfectly fine.
