Players cannot access their games on Forge, simply getting a loading screen
we’re having a similar issue with Texas based players having issues and the rest of us able to log in
2 Players and myself can get in and 2 cannot, getting a perpetual loading screen or a connection timed out error.
The Players are based in Nashville and Florida.
I am having the same problem. In louisiana, internet runs through dallas. Forge website wont load.
Same problem with player in Nashville
Used a VPN to go through new york and it works fine now.
Same problem in Oregon, the VPN trick works, but that’s not ideal.
Also not working for one of my players, who is in Texas. Was to be our first game using Foundry/Forge + starfinder 2e
Having the same issue, VPN workaround doesn’t work for me either.
A thing to note when using VPN, try to select a region that is further away from you.
i.e. If you’re in South US, try with a Canadian region, or even EU, as that is more likely to circumvent the routing issue.
Please let us know if that produces better results.
A player in Tennessee is having an issue with loading the website tonight. Internet is working fine for him otherwise. VPN did not help at all.
I am also unable to load the website, is the site down?
The rest of my group is loading fine. The one with the issue got partially in, but the game wasnt working or loading anything, just some of the UI. A refresh just went back to not loading.
Site is loading super slow what is wrong with this.
No communication about the issue, as well as it being the second time it has occurred in the less than 2-months I have used forge, and this has convinced me to give a different hosting company a shot. Forge sub cancelled.
Hello everyone.
As you might have observed we’ve once again had major issues with disconnections/issues connecting and loading into games.
On our end, we don’t see server issues, and it appears geographically bound. We understand these words don’t exactly alleviate the situation.
If anyone is receiving a Cloudflare page error, please screenshot and share the page in question, including both the error number and RAY id at the bottom of the page. We are using these to help interface and track down the problem alongside Cloudflare.
