The Summon Import Wizard consistently times out at “Task: Migrating Module.”
This happens with:
My Campaign Wiki module, approximately 65 KB
A separate 744-byte diagnostic module with a unique package ID, containing only a valid Foundry v13 module.json and a one-line JavaScript file
ZIP File and Local Folder imports
Multiple browsers and attempts across two days
The diagnostic module’s unique ID is campaign-wiki-import-test, so this does not appear to be an existing-package conflict. “Install found packages from the Bazaar” was disabled.
The displayed error is:
Failed to import 1 Modules
Error importing module: Task timed out, please try again later…
Could you please inspect or clear any stuck Import Wizard/migration task associated with my account?
I am also having the same issue. The Import Wizard gets stuck on the migrating step for systems and modules. It proceeds until it gives the “error importing [system/module]. Task timed out, please try again later…” message. Even after clearing all my data from the data storage tool the error persists. From what I can tell, it successfully installs each module (as they are in the data storage), it just has to time out from attempting to migrate before moving onto the next module.
Hey folks, we can confirm this was an issue. Our infra team restarted the impacted service causing this problem, and have made a ticket to ensure there is a more permanent solution. Apologies for the inconveniences in the meantime!
