The Forge module

Hi Guys,
I use the “the Forge” module, that allows players to browse their Forge Assets Library from their local games, if needed.
I am a Dungeon Master and I really love to use The Forge from the Foundry local software on my Mac. I just update to v13, but the module is not supported.
Anyone has a solution? For me is very useful.
Thank you so much

Hey Daniel, The Forge module has not yet been updated for use in local V13 Foundry. I can confirm it’s actively being worked on, so look out for that update soon!

Hi Akifsm, thanks for your reply. I’ve just update the module, but the “go to the forge” button in my foundry software is disappear (the module is active).
Can you help me? I attach the screen.
Thanks

Hi there, thanks for the update, I’ve just checked for myself and the Back To Forge button is indeed gone, I’m not 100% sure if this is intentional so I’ll check this with our devs. The module itself appears to be working as the sources for the File Picker have been restored, can you confirm that’s the case for you as well?

Hi Akifsm, sorry for my delay in answer.
Yes, I confirm that the module is active and updated, as you can see inn the screenshot attached.
Thank you

Hi again.

I’ve checked and confirmed that the removal of the Back To Forge button is intended, though we’re deliberating if it should be brought back.

Ok Akifm, thanks for your reply. I’ll wait

Hi @Akifsm, any news about the module?
Thank you

Hi again, so that change is going to stick, it might be reintroduced but I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Another thing I forgot to address, this statement is for you and everyone else reading this thread.

Over time we have logged many issues caused by this module, issues which are very hard to fix if at all, issues for which only solution is to scrap the worlds and start over from scratch. This module, with it’s functionality, can and will over time introduce so much junk code into a world that it becomes unresponsive and unfixable, through shared compendiums other worlds will also get bricked even if the module was not active in them.

Alongside corrupting worlds this module is also a Piracy module which is forbidden per our TOS The Forge , which in itself is grounds for termination of accounts. Besides abiding by laws of Canada we also want content creators to be paid for their work and contributions to VTT community.
Please consider this your only warning to remove this module from your account, subsequent infractions will result in support requests being denied and accounts terminated.

Hi Akifsm,
thanks for your reply. So, II’ll wait for the update, if applicable.

About your warning, I’m really sorry for that. Regardless of the errors it may cause (and it would be a shame to delete everything, after all the work I’ve done), I absolutely don’t want to use pirated material, so I deleted it immediately and have no intention of downloading it again. Thanks for reporting it to me, and I apologize again for this misunderstanding.
