Here’s the synopsis I created for this game:
"The world of Ayowa is known in stories as the home of epic legends and deep mysteries. Its skies are adorned with four ominously beautiful moons, twinkling stars, a body of light, and another of darkness, distant and unreachable.
The inhabitants of Ayowa are unaware.. but deep within the most forsaken dungeon, inscribed upon a wall of emerald, lies a prophecy. It was written by a sage who witnessed the very creation of the world itself. Among other things, this prophecy foretells that every thousand years, Ayowa is doomed to face an event of global proportions, capable of annihilating all life. Likewise, every thousand years, a group of heroes is destined to rise, holding the potential to prevent absolute ruin.
But for now, this is just a tale, for our heroes do not yet know of their potential—perhaps they never will. Before that, they must first face challenges… let’s say, more urgent ones.
In Ayowa, there is a continent called Nivap, divided into four kingdoms: Yothon, Nalat, Joesty, and Irion. Of these, Irion is larger and more powerful than the other three combined. Besides these kingdoms, Nivap is also home to a great city-state called Areil, situated on a small archipelago. It is the only government that refuses to bow and submit to Irion’s will, for the simple reason that this city is ruled by the most powerful sorcerer to ever walk Ayowa, who also happens to be a lifelong friend of the greatest red dragon the world has ever seen.
Due to its immense economic and military power, the King of Irion grew accustomed to directly intervening in the politics and governance of his neighbors. At first, these interventions were minor, lowering import taxes, slightly expanding borders…
But they grew bolder, to the point where the King of Irion decided to impose his Inquisition Against the Cursed Magic upon his neighbors, essentially, a relentless hunt and extermination of all sorcerers.
At first, the other kingdoms refused, but it only took a few military incursions from Irion for them to yield and join the Inquisition. Areil, however, stood its ground and even proposed that the other kingdoms unite against Irion’s tyranny.
The other kingdoms refused to fight, but Areil remained steadfast, until, at last, Irion began mobilizing its troops to attack the city-state. Such an act had never been attempted before, for a confrontation between the two powers could end with both reduced to ashes and ruins.
In response, Areil marched its forces toward the continent, expanding its borders to defend its homeland. After months of mobilization, the day has finally come when vast armies from both sides will meet. A battle the likes of which Ayowa has never seen is about to unfold.
The stage for such a spectacle will be the shores of Lake Tuniwan, at the foot of the lone White Mountain. Villagers and townsfolk of the region now find themselves trapped between the two armies, with nowhere to flee.
It was then that Baron Raar, sovereign of the castle atop the mountain, opened his gates, inviting all who sought refuge from the imminent battle. Among these civilians are our heroes, trapped between two of the greatest armies this world has ever seen, hidden behind the walls of a mysterious castle atop a lonely mountain."
