Brief Description of the game/setting/premise:
It is the year 2000, and Twilight has befallen civilization. While the bombs did not fall in the capacity most thought they would, the small nuclear exchange that did occur between the U.S. and U.S.S.R. left the world without power, leadership, and supplies needed to survive a horrific nuclear winter. Through whatever luck you had, you survived your first year. Now, without proper leadership and with new allies, you have decided to do what you think is best. What do you think that is?
Hello, my name is Katie and I will be your GM for this game of Twilight 2000. For those that don’t know, Twilight 2000 is a game that takes place in Eastern Europe a year after a small nuclear exchange between NATO and Russia leaves the world much worse for wear than it was a century earlier. You will play as NATO Soldiers, defecting Soviet Soldiers, or civilians as you make your way across Poland in a struggle to survive the Twilight of civilization.
The Twilight 2000 engine is based on the similar Mutant Year Zero and Alien engines, as they are all made by the same company, just tweaked for a modern setting. If you like things like Fallout (but wish it was less wacky and futuristic), the Book of Eli, or Red Dawn, then this game and setting are for you!
Aditional Details:
We will be using discord for voice & text chat, as well as Foundryvtt for battle maps, dice rolling(which is very automated and easy to learn), and character sheets. There will be a 10-minute break halfway through each session. Session 0 is free!
