Just built new pc and everything works great with the exception of forge. Foundry on desktop works just fine and forge work fine on old pc that i still have running.
New specs i9-14900k, 4080 super, 64gb ram.
Sometimes it doesn’t load at all others it takes like 10min to load. I dont know why it is like this on what settings i need to change. if my weaker pc is running things just fine. i feel like its has to be some kind of setting difference… ive checked the acceleration thing and it happens on any my forge, others forge, and others ppl foundry. and again works instantly on old pc.
Are you running any antivirus or firewall software on this computer and not on the other one?
That’s usually the culprit here. They can start causing trouble even when they are updated.
Running the same on both. Thought this might be a thing so i uninstalled and tried running without one. Still same thing. Im starting to suspect my motherboard/ram may be the issue. Cause its had to do with boot times and load and ive switched out my ram 2 different times and little to no change. Switched slots then bought new ram tested in each slot then switch brand of ram and increased it to 64gb instead of 32. Read something and downloaded a thing to do a ram stress test and got a bunch of errors which leads me to think its the motherboard. Ill be switching it out tonight to see if it fixes the problems.
