I am the one and only Meowthafowkin’ KangStew, but you may call me Den Master Stew… or DM for brevity’s sake. I’m a flexible DM, I don’t fudge rolls for feelings, but I do encourage rp and reward creative thinking.
This will be my first SW5e campaign that I hope to roll into many High Republic games. I enjoy this era because of the broad stroke story lines, gaps and flexibility of canon. But if you’re interested in a Star Wars Westmarch, then this would be a good place to start as well, as we will launch that endeavor in March’26.
I am seeking up to 3 more players to fill seats in my SW5e game.
We play 3-4 hours per session
Applications will be taken through the turkey holiday weekend and interview/invites will go out 12/1.
Requirements:
- NO MINORS. I prefer 25yr+ players because of more practical experience and the fact that we are “gritty”. While try to provide a safe environment for all, we use graphic language and descriptors to drive the story lines in an adult oriented environment.
- Have a functional PC with good internet. There is no quicker way to be replaced than dragging down the whole game. Once, maybe twice, depending on circumstances is acceptable, but third time will definitely be the charm…
- Please leave yo drama with yo mama. We are all sacrificing our time to enjoy something we love. If you’re having bad day and the dice aren’t in your favor, don’t throw it on the table. As DM it’s my place to ensure we all enjoy this break from reality, so shoot my a private message and lets hash it out.

All players will begin at Level One with all background/class items listed + a standard assortment of Pathfinder Gear (standard issue by DM).

Welcome to the waning years of the High Republic, approximately 380sumthin’ BBY, where we will explore places and events leading up to the birth of the Empire. Like every story that surrounds an event there are always other perspectives, ones we accept to be true and those that are forced upon us…
Forced Perspectives revolves around the players employment in the High Republic’s Pathfinder initiative, sending the party to virtually unknown areas, little known worlds and beyond… while still directing a flow of events that play into the greater canon. Again, much like Rogue One, there is always another facet to a single story. In Forced Perspectives there is no Empire (yet), nor Jedi on the run. In this age, if any faction were being hunted, it would be Sith and their… dare I say it… Acolytes. In this free-range space opera, I encourage my players to play whatever they desire, keeping in mind the era, canonical/racial interactions and that they are employed by the Republic.
Pathfinders are not always Pathfinders, and the High Republic acknowledges this, as there is downtime between official missions, which may cut into that cred-flow, so many find side employment running freight, helping establish settlements, orrrr… other means of employment.
FYI: The High Republic unofficially turns a blind eye to nonspecific happenings by it’s Pathfinders as an unofficial “Thank You” for services The High Republic otherwise could not have done without them, BUT, will officially denounce any affiliation and punish applicably should said Pathfinder(s) compromise the integrity and/or values of The High Republic.

Game Rules:
- I don’t allow people to roll social skills against each other; you want to convince a party member be persuasive…
- I do not discourage a players want for “relationships”, but I will not RP a scenario. A player may roll for their chances and experience firsthand my success/fail roll tables… space syphilis is no joke y’all.
- I do not discourage PVP, but keep in mind:
- Don’t make it personal, if you want PVP then RP it into species/cultural prejudice that flows with the canon.
- That all actions have consequences.
- I highly encourage thinking outside of the box and sometimes reward creative thinking. IF, you wish to do things “behind the scene” without talking over another, or without others “knowing”, you may DM me your schemes and set your rolls in vtt to Private GM. You don’t have to answer others if you don’t want to when they ask what youre doing, as one must BE there to observe your actions, and if they ARE there, I will allow them Perception rolls accordingly.
- Roll on vtt for everything please. I will try to have downtime sessions now and again and will require these rolls in Foundry from your sheet.
- I encourage, but don’t expect, you to role play your character. Its fun to cut loose and be a squeaky little alien for a few hours, as much as it is just saying “assume everything I say is Jawaese”.
