About the adventure
The Great War ended in nuclear fire, and two centuries later the wasteland still refuses to forgive. Scattered survivors cling to life among ruins, radiation, and raiders. In this campaign, set in the Cajun Wasteland of New Orleans, the characters are not heroes or warlords … they are survivors. Every bullet, every meal, and every drop of water matters. The group must scavenge, trade, and fight to stay alive, all while deciding how much of their humanity they’re willing to sacrifice. The story is about endurance, community, and the price of survival. Settlements rise and fall, raiders grow bold, storms sweep the land, and mutated horrors stalk the night. The wasteland will test the group again and again, forcing hard choices:
- Do you share your food with starving strangers, or let them die to keep your people fed?
- Do you negotiate with raiders, or risk everything in open war?
- Do you preserve what’s left of the old world, or burn it down to build something new?
By the end, the survivors will either have built a fragile spark of hope—or been swallowed whole by the ashes of tomorrow.
