I am looking for 1 or 2 players to join an existing game. Currently the characters are level 13. I am not sure how high they will go before I start a new game. So far everyone is pretty happy with the game. We have 2 archers, a rogue and a front-liner. You can play almost anything other than an archer 
I do have a lot of rules to help maintain balance and reduce min/maxing. I don’t mind some character optimization, but if you are the type of player that MUST min/max don’t bother applying, you won’t be happy.
The house rules are many and varied so I am not about to list them all, but in a nut shell many campaign specific books are restricted as is Tome of Magic. There will be no evil characters allowed.
The game is set in the underdark. The party has been hired by a surface kingdom to map the underdark so that the kingdom can expand there. Some games we spend an hour just mapping, but that is rare.
My games tend to be combat heavy and roleplaying light. I like roleplaying, but don’t expect the Matt Mercer experience.
I have been playing D&D since the game was born and have been DMing for most of it. I am not infallible and at this point have forgotten more than I learned lol. All ages and genders welcome (but if you are still in high school I want to know so I can curb my language!). I am lgbtq friendly and won’t tolerate discrimination in my games.
