[LFG][Online][$25][Liminal Horror][No Railroading] Bureau of Stabilization | Free Session Zero

Reminiscent of the popular trend of ‘The Backrooms’, with themes influenced by the shared universe of the SCP Foundation.

Here are some more Action Gifs. Which are less compressed.

In this heavy roleplaying series we’ll be using the Lucid System, which is fully automated, has hotkeys and shortcuts for everything; and it’s also very easy to learn. Everyone will be given access to it.

Once 4 players are interested, the first session will be scheduled on a weekly or bi-weekly basis depending on request. The current days that can be made available are (EST) Tuesdays 9~13/14~19, Thursdays 9~13/14~19, and Saturdays 14~19.

There is a place things go when they are forgotten, somewhere people end up when they become lost to the world; a deep crevice where permanence takes a new meaning. The BoS has set their sights on this abandoned and over-growing frontier.
And YOU, recently awakened, have a promise —no, a misbegotten responsibility to fulfill.

Join the expedition into the unfathomable depths of the ‘Folds’ as a member of one of the branches of the Bureau of Stabilization, and leave a mark on a world that wasn’t meant for you.

Take the first step past the threshold of the Event Horizon, as the bottom-most rung of the hierarchical ladder in this pixel art-themed horror-adjacent adventure. Design your TR-Suit (or ask me to do it for you for free) and have it surgically applied to you during your awakening process, as well as your new SPINE. With this equipment you’ll be exploring the ineffable while somewhat protected from the cognitohazards that await you.

Unlock new playable origins, new playable species, new skill trees, new story paths, new equipment and resources, as you acquire DATA and expand the footprint of the BoS in the Undergrass.

This is a shared campaign universe, and discoveries by other player parties might help you in your survival. Believe me, you’ll need it.

Expect death; rejoice in it. Death might be the end of your character, maybe even their story, but it won’t be the end of your duty.

Despite the suggestions at the top, the most influential sources of inspiration for this world are; the art of Giovanni Battista Piranesi, Gérard Trignac, Roman Opalka, the writings of Susanna Clarke, Albert Camus, Tsutomu Nihei, as well as games like NaissanceE, Darkwood, and many others.
