This is a campaign set amidst absolute chaos.

The grand city of Elturel, once a shining beacon of faith and order, has been wrenched from the mortal world and cast screaming into the wastes of Avernus, the first of the Nine Hells.

But you are not distant adventurers summoned to solve this tragedy—you are citizens of Elturel. You lived there. You bled for it. And now, you’re caught in its fall.

:new_moon: The Companion: Light Turned Lie

High above the city once shone the Companion, a second sun. Worshiped as the cities god for protecting it in the past from all manner of horrors. Now, it hangs in the sky as a sickly black orb, pulsing with infernal energy.
Its light no longer protects.
It condemns.

Whispers say the Companion was never divine at all—that it was a devil’s bargain, paid in full. Others say it was corrupted and can yet be saved.
However all anyone knows is that without its light, Elturel will fall.
