A long time ago, there was a human man who researched all sorts of arcane mysteries. That man would be known as Debitus.
However, one day he disappeared from the surface of this world without a soul knowing about his whereabouts. So much so, as if he had never existed in the first place.
If it hadn’t been for the various legends surrounding this man, perhaps he and his discoveries would’ve been lost to time.
The Legend of Debitus is one that adventurers would talk about over a good jug of beer. A story that wizards would tell their young scholars to warn them about the dangers of greatness and the scrutinization that legends bring. A myth for people to believe in and to ignite a spark of courage within them, urging them to follow Debitus’ steps of greatness and to find his treasure.
A treasure that would be the discovery of a century. A treasure that promises godlike powers to anyone who uncovers it.

I’m Pollux, a 22 year old guy and newbie dm.
Herewith, I invite you to my homebrew campaign, which is based on the 2014 DnD 5e ruleset, that will start on the 31st of May (Session 0 is on the 24th of May). To give me, and you enough time to prepare, I’m putting the application out already.
The party will start at level 3 and the session will take place once every 2 weeks on a Saturday at 9 pm (GMT+2/CEST timezone).
The overall theme of the campaign is going to be relatively dark and may contain some themes that some players might be uncomfortable with.
The setting takes place in a homebrew world, which I have handcrafted myself. I’ll gladly let you in on all the relevant information for your character.
AI is strictly banned from my table! I don’t use AI myself and wish to not have AI-generated images in my campaign. If you are accepted into my campaign and can’t get a good reference for your character, can’t draw them yourself or take issue with using Picrew, I’ll gladly draw them for you for free.
To participate in my campaign, you should be above the age of 18, due to many of the topics being not minor-friendly. You should also own a laptop or a computer, and a working mic that doesn’t sound like someone is beating it continuously with a cheese grater (trust me, I heard things)
We have some LGBT+ people in the campaign already and my table is open to minorities generally. In case you take issue with that, please consider applying for a different campaign.

If you are accepted, which you should be notified about within 3 day’s time from the day you applied, I’ll set up a short interview with you over discord. A cam is not required, only a mic. There, I’ll try to get to know you and see whether you’ll fit into the current campaign, and the other players.
If you make it, I’ll gladly help you with creating your player character, and I’m looking forward to seeing you at the end of May, when the campaign starts.
