I just tried installing theripper93’s gather module and it seemed like it didn’t install. I figured it was no problem its given me that error before but when I tried to access my world again I get the error “Package installation in progress, please try again in a few minutes…”. I uninstalled the module. Tried running the world in safe mode. Logged in and out. Went back to a previous build of foundry to see if it would knock out the installation but nothing seems to work. I need some help please. None of my worlds work now. They all give that error.
It seems to have fixed itself. I guess I didn’t wait long enough but the module still caused the issue
How long did you wait? I’m having the same issue but with a different Ripper93 module (Macro Wheel). I can’t access any work after waiting at least 20 minutes. I’ll log out and try again in the morning, but there is no indication that the module is still installing when I look at it in the Bazaar. It just has a red “uninstall” button, which I would take to mean that it is installed.
It would be helpful to have a notification or log where I can know that something is installed or if it is still in progress.
After trying all of the stuff I mentioned, it resolved itself in maybe 30 mins to an hour. I know it didn’t take longer than 2 hours since I tried installing it during a break in my session and was able to access it before the end of the session.
So you should be good now that you’ve waited this long. Good luck!
I had this same issue with a different module, it seems that enabling the ‘check bazaar and install if available’ step is the problem for me, when I installed the same module by .json with that option unchecked it installed no problem, but is still stuck at the install step for the first .json install.
this unfortunately is going to prevent me from having my next session ready for my players on time the way I wanted even if it resolves in the morning
and just like that it actually launched, thank gods. patience is required
