Sometimes the OS can prevent the browser from enabling hardware acceleration.
To get around this, make sure your computer doesn’t have any battery/power saver mode enabled.
On Windows, you can also navigate to settings and set the browser to High Performance mode so that it can make use of hardware acceleration by default.
Of course, the machine needs to support hardware acceleration for this to work.
