Game server keeps going Idle

I’m in the Storyteller tier.
I have 2 games loaded into my account though one is offline and stays that way. The other is an active game I’m starting to run. So the active game is the only one I am starting - I am NOT switching between them.
(There’s another help post here about 2 years ago about a game going offline - but that one was due to game switching, so mentioning that’s not what I’ve got going).

The server for that game seems to go idle after a few hours. As in, every morning where I check, it’s gone to idle.

That leaves my players pinging me in discord asking me to bring it back online. The purpose of hosting on forge was so they could access it without me needing to be there / without needing to run it locally.

Is there a setting somewhere I might have toggled that idles / offlines games after you log out? Or something I can toggle to prevent this?

One clue is that it seems like everytime it’s gone idle I find there are updates available for mods I have. But it goes idle without me having updated.

Hi there

Games idle when there is no activity on them for a certain amount of time. This is covered by our Terms of Service.

If you have it enabled, Game Manager allows your players to start the server themselves, from idle.

If you do not have Game Manager enabled, you can still let an active world idle out, which will start that world up the next time you launch your server from idle. This also happens when a player accesses the idle server.

You can view the currently launched Foundry world from The Forge

If you do not have Game Manager enabled, to make sure that your launched world is set as the idle one: do not return to setup when you are done playing. When the server gets idled, the currently launched world will be saved to the field shown in the image above.
