I have updated my games to version 13.348 with a Storyteller subscription. However, after having updated all modules, I can access my Dnd books but can’t import the spells. I have imported the Player’s Handbook, but it won’t import Xanathar’s Guide. I never had an issue with this in v.12. I don’t want to have to import all the books.
Please advice.
Hi there, can you check if importing the Xanathar’s Guide via the Manifest in the Bazaar works?
Just be sure to deselect the option below.
Another thing to check is to see if the function is restored with all modules disabled, to rule out module conflict.
Hi, I can’t find my Manifest URL in my purchases in DnD and Beyond. I see the books in my game in Foundry, but when I try to import a specific object or spell, it doesn’t work in this new version.
Hi, sorry for the delayed response.
We’ve investigated few other reports with similar issue as yours.
Can you tell us, are you getting this issue with other DnDB imports or only with Xanathar’s Guide?
Any other books or adventures that are failing post v13 upgrade?
Hi, the problem applies to all my DND & Beyond books. I have three more, and I can’t import any specific spells or items, etc., after I upgraded to version v.13, Having all these books completely downloaded is not an option for me, since then I can’t enter the world, it becomes too heavy.
Hi, would you mind sharing the list of the books you’re having issues with, we’d like to know if this is a part of known issue we’re investigating.
Also can you please explain a bit more detail, are you importing DnD Beyond content via the Bazaar DnD Beyond Importer or another method? And can you tell us what error message are you getting when attempting to import these books?
Hi, thank you for your reply. I have the Storyteller subscription, and I use the Bazaar DnD importer. This used to work in the v.12 version. I have The Player’s Handbook 2014, Xanathar’s Guide, Van Richten’s Guide to Ravenloft and Tasha’s Cauldron. I am able to search in the books, but when I attempt to download an item, spell etc. The item or spell is not shown anymore, and even if I press import, it doesn’t work.

Many thanks in advance.
Hi, sorry for late reply and inconvenience this has caused so far.
So to provide an update, we’re currently tackling a issue with DDB-Importer and our Compendium Browser module due to some changes being made with v13 Foundry, which apparently manifests as this issue issue you’re experiencing, so please stand by for more updates as this issue goes through debugging pipeline.
Not sure if this is helpful, as I know you’re working on the issues already, but I can confirm that books do import via the manifest, and that I have tried it in a clean world too so it’s not a conflict issue.
But as others have said, although the books appear, they’re blank and nothing can be imported. It’s impossible to play with anything other than the basic, free rules right now.
About two weeks ago, the manifest wasn’t working properly for me, the import would hang halfway through.
Hi,
Any update on this issue?
Kind regards.
This project is so obviously dead. Seems like the D&D integration is worthless. Also looks like Foundry has been left in the dirt when it comes to official D&D content as Roll20 and Fantasygrounds have it all, whereas Foundry only has a handful of books.
Maybe it’s time to migrate ![]()
