Not all of my players characters show up under the Permissions title in the merchant sheet. It only allows 3 of them to see what the merchant has and are able to purchase items off them. It gives a no active character for user error message when they try to select the merchant. They are all owners of their own actors so I don’t know why it would be giving them this error.
It could be that they have not selected the actor when they are logged in. They can click on their name in the bottom left corner and select the character they have active.
