:scroll: Brief Description of the game/setting/premise:
So first and foremost. This isn’t just looking for a player for a specific game. We are a group of friends who have been playing together for about 12 years. This group consists of new faces, old faces, and some that come and go. But we are trying to find a player looking to join a group, not a game. The current iteration is an episodic style campaign of short adventures. Think adventurer’s guild style, perform a task, find a baddie, kill a boss, rinse and repeat. There is character development and story, but it isn’t the main focus of this campaign. There is (Or will be ;P) an astral/aetherial element to the game at some point, but right now the party’s ship has crashed. There is a lot more we can cover after that, but that’s the mainstay of what’s going on.

To keep things fresh, we run two campaigns: mine (See Above) and hers. Hers is set in hell, and the party finds it less than accommodating, so they want out. Her campaign is titled Songs of Sin, and here we, the party, are attempting to escape hell. We find ourselves stuck in the realm of greed, and we must travel each realm to escape.

Finally, some nights just don’t work out. Life happens. When this happens, those who can still hang out jump on Tabletop Simulator to play a random board game. These nights are just as fun.

:memo: Aditional Details:
With all that above you can see why I say we are looking for a player to join a group not a game. With that, there are a few things I demand when joining the group.

  1. Be respectful. I don’t under any circumstance accept or allow people to disrespect, attack, or belittle my players. We are like family. The new players and the old players. We look out for each other. If somebody comes in and begins to behave antagonistically toward another. I promise I will step in.

  2. As with the above. I respectfully request that conversations containing political, religious, or other buzz topics remain outside of game night. I am not the thought police; I have plenty of opinions of my own. I’m down to share them with people I trust. But there is a time and place for those conversation,s and it isn’t at my gaming table. If this isn’t something you can swing, please don’t apply.

  3. Last and most importantly. Attendance. Its a big thing with me. A really big thing. I understand if life happens. Getting sick and hour before game sucks. If thats the case, drop me a line. But if its something you can see coming. Just tell me. give me a heads up. Most of you know alot of work goes into running a game, and nothing is worse than game night being cancelled or needlessly difficult because somebody decided game wasn’t important. So if you find yourself calling out alot, or struggling to muster the “umf” to make it to game. This might not be your group.

One last thing. We are a new player friendly group. I have been playing DnD since 1994. I am an avid player and belive its one of the greatest games ever made. Many of the friends I’ve made in this circle will remain such far after I’m gone from this world. I have taught more people than I can count how to play and currently have one player in the group that has never played ttrpg before, and she is learning well. So I look forward to those of you who are still interested. You can DM me on Discord for more information or an interview. I promise to speak with those truthfully interested.
