Curse of Strahd is a Gothic Horror Campaign that explores an area of land cut off from everything else through walls of near impassable mists. There is a focus on bringing hope to the hopeless, shining light on the mistreatment of the citizens, and on vanquishing the evil that is responsible for tainting these lands. Utilizing PF2E for this campaign gives the chance to dive deeper into haunts, hazards, horrifying monster, research with a purpose, and so much more!

While exploring the different areas and villages, the characters will have the chance to meet others that are willing to join in their fight. They will have the opportunity to unearth secrets unlocking great power, and if they are lucky, they will discover the secrets necessary to finally put Lord Strahd von Zarovich into the grave permanently.

Hello, my name is Chris! I’ve been running TTRPGs for a few decades now, and I have been enjoying PF2e for the last two years. My tables are welcoming to all players both brand new to the hobby and those that are well established. I take pride in my ability to help get people comfortable with the rules as well as making sure that the spotlight is shared between all players throughout the game. Hello!

If you wanted to join at the startplaying link that I sent above, it’d probably help to bring in more players. Typically, the closer a game gets to the number needed to start, the more people that attempt to join. Once we got four people, I’d probably look to schedule a session 0 to help people with character creation, talk about the campaign themes, and to get an idea of what everyone was looking to get out of the game.

For things that need to be set up, I run voice through discord so I microphone and decent internet connection would be necessary. Foundry and the Forge (which I use for my servers) are both free on the player side to use and just require you to use the same account you used in the forums to access the game. Other than that, Pathfinder does a great job of making all of their character building tools available for free as well at Archives of Nethys and Pathbuilder You would need to sign up for Startplaying as well to join the game which you should be able to do if you click the game link above.
