GM (US, CST) Looking for players. Party of 4-5. [Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, 7:30/8 PM start time]

I am looking to run a game inspired by Darkest Dungeon and chalice dungeons of bloodborne. System flexible with preferred ones being 2014 5e, PF2e, and Cypher, the idea is that you and your party are all treasure hunters exploring a series of ruins far below the country you call home. You go down, collect treasure, come back, sell it, repeat. Along the way dealing with monsters, other treasure hunters, etc. Additionally you may be hired to do side jobs such as rescuing a hunter who’s been down too long or locating a specific object. Regardless, there’s a darkness below the nation. A deep madness that constantly looms at you. Waiting for you to slip and succumb to the madness yourselves.

This is intended to be more horror leaning, lots of exploration and roleplay potential split up with combat where running away is always an option. To that end, a few notes about me as a DM.

  1. I run rules flexible and story forward. Your characters will all matter.
  2. I run with consent forms and staunchly enforce them. Player comfort is key to fun.
  3. This table is a safe place. Discrimination is not allowed.
  4. I only make this rule because it’s come up in games before: the table is not a dating center. Please refrain from asking out fellow players, it just leads to discomfort.

With these and the aforementioned consent forms in mind, I hope to get a party together! Got a good game in mind, and would love to run it.

This sounds like an excellent concept. Well I don’t have anything really against 5e, PF2e it’s just so much better that that’s all I play now. If that’s the system you end up going with I would love to join. What time zone well it can’t be played in?

yah i would be willing to join
